I don't know why I didn't find this out before, but I want to share this great Photoshop + Flash trick with you!
For those of you who dislike spending hours and hours making thumbs and creating code for your galleries as much as I do: Photoshop provides a function to create an automatic flash web photo gallery, which saves you loads and loads of time!
If you want to have an idea of what such a gallery may look like, take a peek at the brushes section, it was made within minutes! *
Ok, it might not be the most pretty one, but it is functional, and customizable! This is just one template, you can download more of them at the Adobe website.
So... how to use this magical tool? It's unbelievably simple: In Photoshop, go to "File" > "Automate" > "Web Photo Gallery". You can then select the folder of the pics you want to add to your gallery, and Photoshop does all the work for you! It creates the thumbs, it puts the pics in a gallery, and it even provides a neat index.htm page!
Go check it out!
* Ok, in this case, putting the download links in each seperate .htm file took me about half an hour, but there are other galleries without text that are literally done in a *flash*. ;]
